- What is OnStage?
- Onstage is a PTA run after school program where registered students learn about theater and performing arts and rehearse for 8-10 weeks to ultimately put on a show for their peers, teachers and parents
- 3rd graders are placed in the ensemble and have a weekly rehearsal; if space allows, 2nd graders can also participate
- 4th & 5th graders are featured and have twice a week rehearsals
- All rehearsals are after school - similar to Afters - and are typically one hour
- As the production date gets closer, rehearsals are extended
- A full rehearsal calendar will be provided
- Does my child have to audition?
- All students will be invited to attend a Casting Workshop
- At this workshop students will have the opportunity to sing, dance and read in front of the creative team
- The creative team will use these Workshops to determine the cast of the show
- All registered students, regardless of attending the workshop, are placed in a role in the show
- What does OnStage cost?
- Registration is $250
- This covers all weeks of rehearsals, 3 performances, the costs associated with set, lights, sound, costumes, creative, etc. and priceless theatrical memories that your child will have for years to come

- When are rehearsals?
- They start in early March and run through early May
- Will my child get a script?
- Yes, every registered child will receive a full script for the show to keep
- Does my child have to go to every rehearsal?
- Yes, your child should attend on his/her scheduled day
- Towards the end of the production, additional days are needed for the full cast to rehearse together
- When are the performances?
- The students will have an in-school final dress rehearsal for students and teachers ONLY on Thursday, May 15th at 130pm
- Actual performances are on Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th - both at 7pm - for family members
- How do I buy tickets?
- We will send out a ticket link in May
- All registered kids will be able to buy 2 tickets to each show performance (for a total of 4 tickets)
- More tickets will be made available if space allows
- How can I help?
- A parent volunteer sheet will be distributed
- We’ll need parents to help with rehearsals, performances, microphones, costumes, makeup, monitoring, etc.
