North Street School STEM Fair - Monday April 7th

Let’s have some fun learning about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math! The NSS STEM Fair is voluntary for students grades 2 through 5. On Monday, April 7th, in the school gym, students will give a verbal presentation to their class and parents during school hours. They will also create a video presentation of their project to be played for the entire school.

Registration is open until Thursday March 27th.

Students may choose a project like an invention to solve real- world problems, a science project or present research on a topic of interest using Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Math skills.  Projects should be student-driven, student-created at home and students can work alone or on a team of 2.

Every student must register and submit an entry fee of $13. No late registrations will be allowed. For those who choose to work on a team, each partner on a project team must submit an Entry Form.  Group projects are limited to TWO students.

  • Each student (or team) will receive a project display board to present their project information and artistic talents.
  • Lights, camera, STEM action! Participants will create a video presentation of their project to be shared virtually with the entire school and emailed to parents. The video presentation should be submitted by email by Thursday, April 3.
  • Lastly, students will captivate audiences with verbal presentations of their projects to their class and parents during school hours in the school gym, on April 7th, at the STEM Fair.

Every student must be registered by Thursday, March 27.

To register, log-on to the Membership Toolkit, submit a registration form and entry fee.  Once registered, you will receive an information packet and details regarding where you can pick-up the project display board (one board per team is included with the registration fee).

On Monday, April 7th students will showcase their brilliance at the NSS STEM Fair. A panel of faculty judges will honor 3 outstanding projects from each grade to WIN a gift card award!

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
