North Street School STEM Fair - Wednesday April 3rd

Let’s have some fun learning about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math! The NSS STEM Fair is voluntary for students grades 2 through 5. On Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in the school gym, students will give a verbal presentation to their class and parents during school hours. They will also create a video presentation of their project to be played for the entire school. Students can work individually or in a team of two and can choose any project topic. A panel of faculty judges will honor 3 outstanding projects from each grade to win an award.

Registration is closed.

Students may choose a project like an invention to solve real- world problems, a science project or present research on a topic of interest using Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Math skills.  Projects should be student-driven, student-created at home and students can work alone or on a team of 2.

Every student must register and submit an entry fee. No late registrations will be allowed. For those who choose to work on a team, each partner on a project team must submit an Entry Form.  Group projects are limited to TWO students.

Students must complete a display board AND record a video presenting their project. Display boards for projects must be purchased for $12 with registration.  To arrange a display board pickup date email KristenKelleyNYC@gmail.com or lucyjcary@gmail.com

Once you complete a registration form, you will receive a packet with participation details. The presentation schedule will be emailed to parents before the event. Students will set up before school and cleanup after school.
